Understanding Integrative Medicine
Integrative Medicine is an inquiry-driven method that combines conventional and traditional medical models including methods of assessment and diagnosis, care planning, and outcome measurements. Along with treatment, broader interventions for health promotion and illness presentation are encouraged with Integrative Medicine. Examples of integrative practice work include conventional and functional lab work, micronutrient testing, hormone testing, and antibody testing. Integrative Medicine assesses the whole body and then develops independent, patient-centered, priority-driven unique protocols for treatment that combines whole-person healing.
